Soave

Veneto white wine

Soave DOC is a still white wine, dry and light. It is produced with Garganega grapes (minimum 70%), Trebbiano di Soave and Chardonnay. Soave DOC wine is pale yellow, sometimes tending to greenish. The palate is dry, medium-bodied and harmonious, and slightly bitter. The taste is strongly influenced by vinification and in particular by being aged in wood, which almost always introduces a slight vanilla note.
